How to: Link and embed pictures in a report.
Solution:
In the Report Design view, select the picture and change the 'Picture Type' properties box accordingly.
NOTE 1: The 'Developer Tools' must be installed.
NOTE 2: If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
1) Click the 'Reports' tab in the Database window.

2) Select the desired report containing the picture or object from the list box. (The selected report is highlighted.)
3) Click 'Design'. (The selected report appears in 'Report' Design view.)
4) Select the picture to embed or link. (Handles appear around the picture.)
5) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Properties'. (The Properties sheet for the selected picture appears.)
6) Click the 'Format' tab in the Property sheet.

7) To link a picture:
a) Click in the 'Picture Type' property box. (A down arrow appears.)
b) Click on the down arrow. (A drop-down list appears.)
c) Select 'Linked' from the drop-down list. (Linked appears in the property box.)
8) To embed a picture or an object:
a) Click 'Picture Type'. (A property box down arrow.)
b) Click on the down arrow. (A drop-down list appears.)
c) Select 'Embedded' from the drop-down list. (Embedded appears in the property box.)
